Company profile

The Carbide, s.r.o. company has been manufacturing and sharpening special HM and HSS tools since 1998. It is a 100% subsidiary of a Prague-based investment company.

With more than 11 years of experience in the field of manufacturing and sharpening tools, our team of sharpeners has gained extensive knowledge of rotary tool machining technology. Each sharpener is trained to deal with very complex technological processes on our CNC sharpening equipment.

Machine facilities

We manufacture and sharpen on five-axes CNC sharpeners:

• HELITRONIC POWER from WALTER (1998)
• HELITRONIC MINIPOWER from WALTER (1998)
• SAACKE UW II CNC 5A from SAACKE (2003)
• HELITRONIC POWER from WALTER (2007)

We check the manufacture and sharpening on the HELICHECK contactless measuring centre from WALTER.

The company also disposes of conventional machines for preparation works.

The company has been awarded a quality certificate under ISO 9001/2000.
